"Sunset Moon"⠀On January 20th 2019 from 7pm to 11pm as most of you know we had a total Lunar Eclipse. Such a beautiful sight to see where the earth falls in line between the sun and the moon. The sun hits the earths atmosphere on the sides of the earth which is either sunset or sunrise and those light rays bend around earth and hit the moon creating a nice red glow while the earth is casting a shadow upon it. The whole total eclipse lasted around 4 hours and totality lasted around 45 mins. I was so blessed to have some amazing people around me to enjoy this experience and make a beautiful memory with. @Rafalcwiok, @teeruddle, his daughter skylar, and my beautiful lady @dominichole all were champs braving the cold with me. They sat and watched it with me from beginning to end. "A Theory Of The Universe"⠀OK bare with me for a min. SO Atoms, are one of the smallest building blocks of life. The contain a nucleus which has protons and neutrons in there and electrons that revolve around. Our solar system has a sun in the center and planets and moons revolve around it. Our galaxy has black hole in its center and solar systems, stars, and so much more revolve around it. ⠀Do atoms know its bigger purpose? Do they know that they are so much bigger than just a neutrons, proton and electron. Take for example Hydrogen, One of the most Simplistic atoms but its one of the most important. You need it for life to survive. Our body is 3/4ths hydrogen. Everyone living thing in the universe (as far as we know) needs that 1 atom to exists. Hydrogen which is the most common element in the universe. But heres the thing.. there are 100 trillion Atoms in 1 red blood cell, and there are 32 trillion cells in the human body on average. So... Does a atom know its part of a cell, or the bigger picture a human. ⠀So heres my theory, What if we are part of something so much bigger than us but its so big we would never see it, or feel it? What if our solar system is just a proton, our galaxy is just an atom, and our universe was just a cell to something so much bigger? What if 32 trillion universes made up some other living being that lives its life in its world just as we do? What if we were just another element in their periodic table? Its a fascinating Concept to think about⠀What do you think? Whats your ideas and theories?⠀⠀.#MyCanonStory #CanonFanPhoto @Canonusa⠀Camera: Canon 6d⠀Lens : #Canon 50mm F1.4 & Canon 14mm⠀Exposure Time: 120 seconds pano⠀Focal Length: Sky: 50mm FG:14mm⠀ISO 1600⠀Aperture: F2.8⠀Gear: Skywatcher Star Adventurer from @highpointscientific⠀⠀#ourplanetdaily #longexpoelite #TeamHighpoint #astrophotography #longexposure #visualambassadors #night_excl #nightsky #sahara #shotzdelight #artofvisuals #canon_photos #ournaturedays #ig_shotz #tentree #lensbible #exceptional_pictures #nightphotography #roamtheplanet #earthofficial #earthpix #nightscape #nightscaper #fantasticuniverse #universetoday #natgeo #YourShotPhotographer

Question Of The Day: What’s the best thing that happened to you last week?⁣⁣"Scorpius De Deserti" The Scorpion of the Desert This 25 feet high and 25 feet long semi hidden Scorpion can not be seen from the road, but if you know where to park, you can find it in seconds. It was a dark and cold night. The clouds and wind ruined our opportunity for pictures. With our tent blowing away in the storm we saved the hunt for the scorpion for the next day. This was my first time using Light Painting Brushes color lens hoods and boy did they do some amazing things. I will post up pictures in due time, but, the wider angle shows this scorpion in a fight with a giant cricket. They are wielded out of bronze and do not have color. so the lens hood gave it at extra aspect of light. Painting the Scorpion Yellow, and the Cricket Green, and letting the MilkyWay expose itself all at the same time was a beautiful combo for a great shot.⁣#MyCanonStory #CanonFanPhoto ⁣Photo Details @Canonusa⁣Camera: Canon EOS 6D⁣Lens: #Canon EF 14mm f2.8⁣Aperture: f2.8⁣ISO: 3200⁣Shutter Speed: 30 sec⁣Focal Length: 14mm⁣⁣#supreme_nightshots #longexpoelite #ig_shotz_le #amazingphotohunter #landscape_captures #thebest_capture #natgeospace #longexposure_shots #nightimages #nightshooterz #nightshooters #nightpics #milkywaygalaxy #astrophotography #longexposure #canon_photos #longexpo #amazing_longexpo #amazingearth #natgeospace #milkyway #nightphotography #night_excl #amazingphotohunter #fantasticuniverse⁣#milkywaychasers #Universetoday

oh how I missed you light painting.... its been a whileThinking about it in my insomnia hours.... Im a hard working person, Ive always been a hard working person, even now i spend my nights till 430am working. I personally love seeing progress and feeling productive. Over the last almost 3 years ive been doing 80 hours a week just to barely keep my head above water in this overly expensive city. To take care of the people i need to take care of, and do the things i need to do, and then make small investments into things i love like photography pretty much leaves me month to month. No one can live off min wage in Los Angeles. Ive loved my life the last 3 years and made it really productive. i don't regret working that hard.... but im excited now to be going from 80 hours a week to 30 and making double the amount i made in 80 hours, but instead... now doing something i love and am passionate about. I might not be well off in this expensive city... but hopefully now i wont have to struggle to breath, I can get some sleep and recover my mind and body thats been neglected for a while, and finally... after 30 years of my life, start saving something. Wont be much... but its something. It might sound like a long shot... but my goal by the end of next year is to be making at least 100k a year. I honestly think thats feasible and doable. I dont think it will be that hard... But it will take a ton of time and dedication and im prepared for that. With that I can really give back, I can really help people, and have time and money to make the lives of other more enjoyable. We learn as we go, we progress as we live, and only those who are willing to put in the effort can get a prize. A wonderful woman who took me in and took care of me when i needed it, once asked me when i was younger. " Whats the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people?" She said "Successful people are willing to do the things that unsuccessful people arn't" and later followed it up with "Theres no time like the present to get shit done" The wonderful Sheila, a hero of mineCamera: Canon 6dLens : Rokinon 35mm F1.4Exposure Time: 20sISO 200Aperture: F2.8Gear: @the_ball_of_light

"Trillium Nights"Upon this 3 week road trip along the Pacific North-West we traveled to Mount Hood and stayed on the beautiful Trillium Lake. Such a gorgeous place to watch a perfect sunset. My girlfriend Dominique Nichole Love got a late start on the Trillium Lake Trail and by the time we got to the spot i had envisioned, the sun was already down. So... We worked with what we had and still came out with a bunch of beautiful images. Shes a wonderful model even though she gets cold real easily. I've had @Ericparephoto Tubes for a while and dying to use them and due to work and life i hadn't been able to use them or do any light paintings for that matter, but i felt like this was a perfect start. They sure came in handy over the trip. Let me just say, that getting creative under a night sky with people you love is really a great way to spend a night. For those who are unaware of whats happening with the sky I shal briefly explain. The star in the middle of the circles is the north star which is the only star that pretty much doesn't move because its on our planetary rotational axis. What your seeing here is a recording of star trails as they move across the sky because the earth is spinning.Photo Details @CanonusaCamera: Canon EOS 6DLens:Canon 24-105 @ Rokinon 14mm F2.8Aperture: f4ISO: 250Shutter Speed: 2 secFocal Length: 35mmTools:Milky White Eric Paré TubeEagletac D25LC2Model: Dominique Nichole Love#moodygrams #master_gallery #amazing_longexpo #longexpo_addiction #longexposure_shots #longexpoelite #allbeauty_addiction #igtoday #expofilm #theimaged #nightscaper #master_gallery #ourmoodydays #hubs_united #ourplanetdaily #nightphotography_exclusive #CanonUSA #wonderful_places #theglobewanderer #ourplanetdaily #earth_shotz #randommagazines #ig_bliss #fatalframes #Mthood #california #pnw #pnwwonderland #milkyway #stargazing

Question Of The Day: What do you spend the most time thinking about?Heres a picture I took a while ago of the milky way core. The green is actually the Northern Lights over Crater Lake :) Skylar Keck ( @wolverine_11 ) was one hell of a great wingman. contributing to the trip any chance he could. "The 8 Eyed Demon at Scorpius Arch"Crazy Story Alert:As I was driving back from Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, I figured I would do a night out in Joshua Tree and try and catch the Milky Way. There is a super secret spot called Scorpius Arch that was discovered by Chip Morton . It's so unknown that even Joshua Tree park rangers didn't know where it was when I showed them a picture. I got tipped off by a friend and decided to drive there and search for it. When I found it the sun was still out, I was tired, had just hiked 12 miles that morning and drove 5 hours. Blisters on my toes, and my knee was screaming at me to just go home, but pressed on anyway. When I got there, I laid down on a rock and fell asleep. I've heard stories by tracyleephotos of there being scorpions there so...I was nervous. Set my alarm to 3 hours later and passed out on this rock in the middle of the desert. I woke up 2 hours later with the most terrifying thing ever. THERE WAS A TARANTULA, slightly bigger than my palm on my belly. I felt it crawl up (which woke me up), I looked down and saw it's 8 eyes staring at me, burning my soul 8x more than your average demon. I freaked out, swatted the spider off me and ran like living hell! I actually love spiders, the bigger the better. I've always wanted a pet tarantula...but when a wild one is on your stomach right when you wake up... your heart misses a beat and you borderline have a heart attack caused by fear. So it scurried off and I did to. It took me 30 mins to not be paranoid that it was going to come back. So, with every sign under the sun telling me to go home... I stayed, and every picture I took I hated. They were really noisy because of the heat. Even ISO3200 on a 6D the pictures were really noisy. I also couldn't align my shot up nicely. It was just an off night to say the least. Got pissed then walked to the road (in pitch black... with my screaming knee and blistered foot), and I got to the road about 1/3rd of a mile away from the rock. Got in the car, went home and was so excited to lay in a nice warm bed.I was very unhappy with how this picture came out but, cool story bro, I present to you.... Scorpius Arch #MyCanonStory

"The 8 Eyed Demon at Scorpius Arch" Crazy Story Alert: As I was driving back from Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, I figured I would do a night out in Joshua Tree and try and catch the Milky Way.
