If you don’t have it you’ll never give it, but if you don’t give it you’ll never have it. It may sound like an oxymoron, but let’s think about it for a second. This, I believe, is why so many people never attain success. ____ I heard @deepakchopra speak on dharma as someone’s “truth” or “duty” and relating it to ones calling in life. He mentioned how in order to be bountiful in a particular area, you have to give freely. If you want financial bounty, you must be giving with money. If you want love, give love. If you want peace and happiness, you must embody those things. ____ On the other hand, some people tend to covet the things they so badly want. We all know a person who is a miser with money, or the heartbroken individual who never gives love freely. This is the mentality of “I don’t have enough, so I can’t give any away”. ____ If you truly want to embody your dharma, you must act from a place of bounty. When you give openly, you will always receive. That is the law of attraction, karma and dharma.
