The Colors of Fall
What’s up everyone! Happy new year to all of you guys! Well, it’s that time again. My first new release of the year. This gallery has been long over do. I had to take a little break from the image making process. I just needed to reset, regroup, and honestly just needed to rest. After some much needed rest I’m back at it! I’m in full swing again back at the computer processing again and back in the field.
With this gallery, the name speaks for itself.....the colors of fall. Fall is my favorite time of year photograph. There’s something about nature preparing itself for the cold winter. The temperatures start to drop and my favorite....the leaves start to change color! That full blast of color from the fall foliage becomes hypnotic. It’s a feast for the eyes! The beauty of fall is truly special.
When I photograph these forests during the fall, I try to make sense of what I’m seeing. It’s not just about the color, but also about the trees themselves. Their shape, the structure, the framing, the arrangement of the trees, all these features with the beauty and splendor of fall foliage, makes for amazing fall imagery, and I hope to convey this description in this gallery. Another interesting thing about this particular gallery, is the imagery is quiet, understated if you will. The scenes don’t scream, “hey look at me.” They are very subtle, and lack the inclusion of sky. The scenes are very detailed oriented. One must look at the scene entirely to appreciate the fine details.
2020 is going to be a fantastic year! Lots of new images to be shared! Aerials, swamps, deserts, skies, intimates, forests, mountains, you’ll see a little bit of everything from me this year! Stay tuned!
