WE WILL NEVER FORGIVE THE TERRIBLE THINGS YOU’VE DONE TO US 🐕
Putting aside politics, the Hong Kong Police brutality is the greatest undermining of the rule of law system in Hong Kong. No one is against law enforcing, it’s their job to do so. However, beating arrested personnels and breaking their bones is not part of the job, that’s called police brutality. Beating unarmed civilians just because they walked passed the protest area is not executing the law, it’s called assault. Firing real bullets into protesters chest when being attacked by a plastic pipe is not self defense, it’s unregulated use of firearm and murder. If the police are truly just doing their job, why are they beating medics and journalists, pepper spraying children and elders, shooting expired tear gas (which contains cyanide) into residential buildings, metro stations and shops, and even escorting gangsters away after they attacked people on the streets? Not to mention the tremendous amount of accusations of sexual assaults on protesters after they’ve been arrested and the sudden surge of “suicide incidents” in the past four months.
It’s unbelievable to say this, but Hong Kong has officially become a police state, where the police are the judge, jury and executioner.
