Horsing around... Some of the friendliest chaps I’ve had the opportunity to shoot. These Navajo horses are somewhere between wild stallions and tame house pets, roaming the red-sand deserts of Monument Valley on their own free will, as if out of a classic western movie. One moment they’re grazing the fields for something to eat, rolling in the sand playfully, nibbling on my shoulder for attention and then, all of a sudden, they get the zoomies; shooting off into the distance trying to get frisky with one another, nipping away tenaciously until one subdues and takes off, tail between it’s legs, defeated. Rinse and repeat for the entirely of the day.
