debatethisaccount @samsononpolitics you do realize Communists and antifa and the like make up a vast minority of liberals right? You could replace that picture with a bunch of right-wingers waving Nazi flags and make it a comment on the right, neither are correct.

makaashley @prolife_student I have explained this already. I would have an abortion before I would ever even consider putting my kid up for adoption. I will not go through pregnancy so someone else can have my kid. I will not go through pregnancy and have a kid for myself and my husband to raise until we are in a spot where we are capable of doing so. As it stands right now if my birth control were to fail tomorrow, I would call a clinic and make an appointment as soon as I got the positive pregnancy test back. I can and will have an abortion for any reason that I choose.

notallmen.tm @prolife_student women don't give birth for other people, they do what they want with their bodies, for themselves. If she don't want to give birth for someone's else she doesn't have to.

aequalitatemologist @babieslivesmatter3 and you say they are not considered abortions but its still ending a life, so wouldnt you be against it?

babieslivesmatter3 @aequalitatemologist there’s nothing to be against, Ectopic pregnancy is not an issue in the abortion debate. The removal of an ectopic pregnancy is not an abortion and has never been considered as such either under the terms of the 1861 Offences Against the Person Act or the 1983 Eight Amendment to the Irish Constitution. Since the first description of the surgical management of ectopic pregnancy by Lawson Tait in 1884 there has never been even a suggestion that a doctor who removes an ectopic pregnancy should be prosecuted. The treatment for this condition does not meet the definition of abortion which is the purposeful destruction of the unborn in the termination of pregnancy. It is the intent to save a life. Also, c-sections.

I can’t even imagine the level of desperation that a mother facing an unwanted pregnancy must feel, much less someone that is legally obligated to become one against her will, even if she cannot afford it.Abandoned infants is a direct consequence of the #heartbeatbill and the criminalization of abortion in general. If you want to know why I am against it and speak out - this is a prime example. I’d rather a woman have the choice to have an abortion, than shrug our shoulders saying ‘we can’t help you’ until she dumps her baby in the woods anyway, and we have to hear about it from a public bulletin asking for help. The choice is obvious to me - I vote for less needless suffering in this world! The worst being that this will absolutely continue to happen with increasing frequency, unless we change our laws. I doubt she is the only one. How many babies didn’t and won’t get this ‘lucky,’ and are not found in time?Of course this #moraldilemma is not a heartwarming topic but when these kinds of laws are being passed that directly contribute to our state’s collective misery, at some point you have to decide enough’s enough - it’s important to seriously consider what we should prioritize as georgians because we see over and over again through history that bans are worthless and have ZERO practical effect and only increase the behavior they mean to prevent. Yet we vote for people who push them anyway! Why else do you think our state has some of the worst mortality rates of the whole country? It’s appalling that this is the only apparent option this expecting, unprepared #Georgia mother had to face, because by law unborn children are more important than us. This is like the trolley situation, most people would agree the trolley killing 1 is better than the trolley killing 5. Most people who think deeply about the topic will realize that it is better to keep abortion legal and have fewer lost lives than it is to ‘protect’ the unborn - which only creates more unprepared people and broken families. Where is the advantage there? This faultless child will probably suffer and struggle for the rest of her life, for what? So we can pretend to care about unborn children? Cont.\/

sardiscouncilclub So we can pretend to care about unborn children? That’s nonsense - I care more about born children that feel pain and are already here. To think that maybe her parent(s) would’ve had more options and this wouldn’t have happened, if she had lived literally anywhere else.. Sad! Very sad, but ultimately what IS heartwarming is the fact that we can change it. We don’t have to live this way, we can come together and change these laws so these kinds of things can become rare instead of common. It is easy to feel powerless in the face of great adversity but we cannot forget the strength that has allowed us to brave the horrors of this world, and not only carried us to this point but keeps us going. We will win. But only together. I appreciate your attention my friends, keep standing for what needs to be stood for, and keep fighting!! 💪

multysulty @clarissa._.spam I didnt saying anything insulting based on race. So how is that racist? In a land where women are second citizens and everything is ran by only men and instead of being a democracy, capitalist or socialist its ran by a religion. That sounds pretty savage and neanderthal like to me.

clarissa._.spam @multysulty so we're just going to ignore the "Saudi Arabia is a savage land full of primitive apes" part then. You do in fact realise that when you address Saudi Arabia, you address the whole country's population. Right? Not just some. I'm not saying that I agree with the things that happen there, but I don't think it's right to compare it to Neanderthals. The system (although it is completely wrong) is clearly working well in men's favour considering that it has taken so long for women to have the right to travel. Somehow I don't think that is due to lack of thought, on the contrary, I believe lots of thought has been put into oppressing women there. That's all. I'm not discussing this further.
