The O so sweet (potato) breakie:🍳1. Slice a sweet potato length wise and about 1/4 inch thick. Cut a slice for each egg2. Turn your oven to broil and let it warm3. On a pan, cook the sweet potatoes in the oven for 5-6 minutes each side. You can also pop them in the toaster but I find the oven is easier4. While the sweet potatoes are cooking, cook your eggs by either frying or boiling5. Mash an avocado with a little bit of pepper6. Today’s breakfast! A great way to start your day and get your metabolism going is with a healthy breakfast! Though, not all of us have the time to whip up some magical breakfast, I’m always looking for something that’s quick and easy to make but that will benefit my body. This here is one of my favorites! It’s Dave’s Killer Bread Powerseed organic bread. It’s got 5g of protein, 440mg in omega 3, 20g whole grains, 5g of fiber and one slice is only 100 calories! (Trust me, one slice is all you need.) I layer it with organic/natural almond butter, or you can use PB Fit Peanut Butter. I slice half a banana and add raspberries. It’s super delicious, super filling, and really gives you the energy you need to get your day going. Super super easy to make, you can take it with you to work. Did I mention it was super delicious? Protein is vital, especially since the main portion of my workouts are weights/weight training. You want to stay fueled and strong! My problem before, was that I either didn’t eat, and work out like a maniac— that exhausted my body and gave it nothing to run on, making me weaker. Or, I’d eat whatever and work out and wonder why I was feeling like shit. It’s important to know what you need to consume according to what you’re wanting to do with your body/attain.
