Balance is an important part of kicking. You can usually tell if someone’s experience by the way they kick. So important to be on the ball of your foot when kicking (heel up) and balanced. To improve your balance when kicking (round kick, push teep) try this drill on a bag or with a partner. Whilst staying high on the ball of your foot kick but don’t let your kicking leg touch the ground on the return. Instead keep that leg nice and high and skip on the supporting leg without letting the heel touch the ground. Try and keep rhythm for 30 secs each leg. Make sure your hands are up and not flailing around. Core switched on. Muscle memory should kick in and your co-ordination will improve.Great way to warm up. 💪🏽🥊💪🏽🥊#drilloftheday #muaythai #kickboxing ---------#gym #fitness #workout #boxing #martialarts #balance #coordination #mobility #movement #exercise #health #gym #mma #bjj #muscle

In the grand scheme of things tennis balls drills aren’t realistic to game situations. However, they are a powerful tool to teach you to use your off hand, improving ball control and hand speed. ❗️❗️❗️10 min each day at the end of the session. The key is to stay focused as you get tired. 🙌
