Snow on the wedding day is def my favorite
Probably the last tub of roses from our garden this year before everything gets cut back. I'm standing here still in my coat and damp gloves enjoying them, imploring the husband to look and look because in forty-five minutes the baby will wake up and tug their heads off.
If you looked closely at the image, then you know I’m heading to Bali, Indonesia in what has sort of become an annual November trip for me. Having spent a decent portion of my life in Indonesia, each trip back feels a bit like traveling home, to a place I’m familiar with. It’s a place I grow to love and appreciate more and more with each trip, and a place I’ll continue to return to, for the beautiful scenery, the friendly people, the delicious food, and the vibrant culture. While most of this trip will be on Bali, I’m excited to do a little bit of island hoping and visit a few other islands as well. I’m also excited to share the whole experience with some good friends, showing them the places I love. So stay tuned for Indonesia photos over the next few weeks 😊🏝🐠🥭🍛🤿🏄🏼☀️
It is fear that reinforces the walls we build, people are afraid to be swayed from their convictions, afraid to question their moral instincts and expose themselves to ideas that may challenge the fabric of their entire existence, but what are we if we are not seeking to better ourselves? - Aysha Taryam
